Στο πλαίσιο της διεύρυνσης των συνεργασιών η ΟΕΚ υπέγραψε, κατά τη διάρκεια του 1ου Παγκύπριου Ογκολογικού Συνεδρίου, Μνημόνια Επιστημονικής Συνεργασίας με τις αντίστοιχες ελληνικές ογκολογικές επιστημονικές εταιρείες, την Εταιρεία Ογκολόγων Παθολόγων Ελλάδας (ΕΟΠΕ) και την Ελληνική Εταιρεία Ακτινοθεραπευτικής Ογκολογίας (ΕΕΑΟ). Η υπογραφή των μνημονιων από τους Προέδρους της ΟΕΚ Δρ Αναστασία Κωνσταντινίδου, της ΕΟΠΕ Δρ Ζένια Σαριδάκη - Ζώρα και της ΕΕΑΟ Δρ Γεώργιο Κουκουράκη επισφραγίζει τις αδελφικές σχέσεις και σηματοδοτεί μια νέα εποχή προς όφελος των ογκολόγων και των ογκολογικών ασθενών των δύο χωρών.
